The Rotate documents AS component

Randomizes a document from the selected category

When to use

This component is typically used when there is a need to randomly select a document from a specific category. 

Location

An identifier to a category to randomize documents from.

PTID

Optional, a presentation template for the documents you want to rotate. Only applicable for EPT documents. 

Since this component include documents all documents inserted must be without metadata.

In order to follow the (X)html-specification make sure that the documents you are randomizing from are following the target DocType.

Both Rotate documents and Randomize documents performs random selection among documents. The difference between them is that when Randomize documents selects a document from a list of documents Rotate documents selects a document from an specific category.
